This tool for evangelism will assist the local communities through the Indigenous Church to evangelize their area. These machines will be supervised by the local churches, who in turn will have the opportunity to minister the gospel to the many rural women who would never be able to hear about Jesus. As Joseph in the Old Testament gave needed corn to his brothers, and placed his father's money in their corn sacks, so WE WILL NOT CHARGE A FEE TO GRIND THEIR CORN. We will, also, put gospel tracts and spiritual literature in the corn sacks that these ladies take home to their families. (Genesis 42) CORN GRINDERS USED AS A TOOL FOR EVANGELISM Ground corn is essential to life in South Africa. There, women are forced to pay outrageous prices to the controlling Muslims, the only people who own corn grinders. God is providing an opportunity for CFAM to minister to these needy women who no longer would spend 4-5 hours daily waiting at the Co-Op for their corn to be ground by the Muslims. They crush the corn in a hand-made hollowed-out tree stump with a 6 ft. high x 4 in. wide wooden pole. CFAM will place corn grinders in the villages where electricity is available. FREE corn grinding will be offered by the local congregation. In exchange for having their corn ground, the women must attend church and listen to the gospel while the corn is ground. WE NEED 50 CORN GRINDERS IN 2005 Your prayers and contributions will enable us to reach the unsaved women and their families in these villages. You will be helping not only the community and the church, but you will be aiding these women as they feed their families. Local pastors will preach the gospel. Their wives will counsel with these women regarding their eternal salvation, sending them home with their corn ground at no charge and with gospel tracts in their native language telling them of salvation. |
